Establishment
The State’s Data Task Force was established to assist the Chief Data Officer in developing data policies, procedures, and standards. The task force includes representatives from key government agencies such as the judiciary, education, human services, health, business development, and the University of Hawaii, along with public members representing nonprofit and for-profit organizations with data expertise. Periodic evaluations ensure the task force’s effectiveness in guiding the State’s data initiatives.
Our Mission
The Data Task Force’s mission is to support the Chief Data Officer in developing and implementing the State’s data policies, procedures, and standards. The Task Force works to enhance decision-making and reporting across departments, ensure compliance, secure necessary resources, and advocate for data initiatives to the legislature and public.
